Flat wire belt that is available in galvanized carbon steel and stainless steel , Flat wire belt is made from cross round rod and flat strips with welded edge or clinched edge ( rod-bent edge ) .Side guard and flight are available , very little maintenance is needed .This conveyor belt, which is made of flat wires instead of weaves, is more suitable for heavy duty work compared to other weave belts. Its common areas of use are automotive parts/battery industry, kitchen manufacturing industry, manufacturing of pots/pans, packaging industry and ceramics sector. Also, thanks to its porous structure, it can be comfortably used in washing and drying lines along with cooling of plastic/rubber products. Standard duty belts are normally equipped with clinched edges to prevent shrinkage on the rods, but can also be furnished with button-head welded edge

All flat wire conveyor belts over 60" wide have their pickets tack welded to the rods to stop the pickets from narrowing when the belts are operated under high tension or at high speeds.
